Terms and Conditions

Please read the following terms carefully. They apply to bookings of travel services, made by you through this website.

Reservation policy

Making a reservation by Ticket2Surf should follow this order:
Please fill in the booking form on our website (BOOK YOUR TRIP) and choose the dates and the surf package you would like to reserve.
We shall contact you within 48h to confirm availability.
You need to make a deposit payment of at least 50% over the total holiday price.
We will send you your valid booking confirmation after the deposit payment has been confirmed. Your surf holiday is reserved!
You will have until 30 days before the start of your surf holiday to transfer the rest of the money to our bank account.
In case you want to book your holiday with less than 30 days in advance you have to transfer directly the full amount of money to our account.

Important: your reservation is valid only upon confirmation of the deposit payment.

Cancellation policy

If you wish to change your booking after it has been confirmed (e.g. guest names, date changes, etc), you can do that until 30 days before beginning of holiday if dates are available. After this period you will have to cancel your booking and re-book through our website again and we cannot guarantee availability. Should you by own means cancel your booking after having made a deposit payment; your deposit is non refundable. Nevertheless, the value of your deposit will remain valid for one year, as a credit you can use to book alternative dates if available.

Furthermore the following cancellation charges will apply:

Cancellation within - 30 days before beginning of holiday: 25% of holiday price. Cancellation within - 7 days before beginning of holiday: 50% of holiday price. Cancellation within - 1 day before beginning of holiday: 100% of holiday price.
Ticket2Surf reserves the right of cancelling any activity or holiday by refunding the full amount of the total holiday price, if by any means necessary.

Accommodation policy

In the surf house you are responsible for keeping the kitchen, bathrooms and common areas clean, undamaged and ready for others to use. It is expected from guests to respect each other as they share the lodging. For any damage caused to equipment or disregard for conduct rules you will be held responsible and Ticket2Surf holds the right to refuse accommodation and invite guests to leave the surf camp. Guests staying in the shared room accommodation are expected to use only their bed and shelve to store luggage, leaving all other beds and shelves free for newcomers.
Bedsheets are included within the price but towels NOT.
Our guests are welcome to use the kitchen facilities but our crew has always priority.
Children under 18 years old must beaccompanied by their parents.
No smoking inside the surf house.
The room should be left clean before departure and the keys should be return at the reception.

Transfer policy

If you have booked our transfer service from / to Oporto Airport (OPO): Transfer must be booked minimum of 24 hours in advance and be confirmed by Ticket 2 surf through email. The cancellation of a transfer must be done until 24 hours before arrival. If otherwise we will not refund the transfer money. Our driver will wait for you at the arrival hall of the Oporto airport, in the area reserved for the travel agents. Clients are required to show the confirmation of the reservation to the driver. The transfer can be refused by our driver in case of drunkenness, intoxication or aggressive behavior of the clients.  If so, Ticket 2 surf has the right to charge 100% of the transfer price. When booking a transfer service, the client is required to provide a telephone number to be contactable when arriving in Portugal. In case of delay caused by the traffic, weather conditions or any other factors which could not be influenced by our part, Ticket 2 Surf does not take any responsibility and does not refund any alternative transfer taken by clients (namely taxi, train or bus).

Surf School policy

Ticket2Surf offers surf lessons every day. The time of the day at which surf lessons take place, depend on weather, tide and wave conditions and are decided by the responsible surfing instructors. Weather and wave conditions are absolutely out of our control and therefore we can never guarantee for any kind of surfing conditions. We do however make the most effort to be updated on recent forecasts to be able to decide for best surfing times and locations. Should by decision of the responsible surfing instructor the surf lessons be cancelled, due to dangerous or insufficient weather and wave conditions, we will organize alternative activities to replace surfing like city walks, hiking, workshops, games, etc… Please respect the schedules of the surf lessons. We do not provide any exceptions to the regular surf class schedule. If you are expected for surf classes and you do not show up, we will make no refund. Every booking of the surf lessons is personalized and has a reference number. Clients are strictly required to follow the instructions of their teacher, with special attention to the safety rules. In the case of injury inform your teacher without any delay. If you are taking surf lessons: be on time for the surf classes, you are responsible for your surf equipment. It should always be handled with care and brought back clean. In case of damage we expect you to pay the amount of money of the broken material.

Insurance

Our sports accident insurance only covers accidents that may happen during our surf classes and transportation on vehicles belonging to Ticket2Surf. We strongly advise you before beginning of your holiday, to take an all risk travel insurance to cover for any incident.
